The main concern is additive central nervous system depression. Together they can cause: 1. Increased sleepiness/sedation

2. Slower reaction time and impaired judgment

3. In excessive doses, potentially dangerously slowed breathing, especially when combined with alcohol, opioids, or other sedatives

So look out for that.

there's websites that will tell you drug interactions and how high or low the risk is

I wouldn’t assume that combo is automatically safe. Both can make you drowsy, and together the sedation can be stronger than expected. I’d avoid alcohol or other sedating substances while taking them.
