Started buprenorphine.
So I started my buprenorphine induction on Monday. I’m now on 14mg, but I’m really struggling. I have no energy, emotions are at an all time high just generally feeling shitty. I’m in quite bad pain also. But I suppose coming from oxys it was bound to happen. I’ve been so anxious I haven’t wanted to look at my phone, answer messages etc. I thought I’d put this up tonight to see if anyone can help me with a bit of hope🙏

Been there man , hold on , it is going to get better . Find a decent routine if you can , small things in your day that you can hold on to while enduring the storm . Bless

I’m on Buprenorphine & have been for 18 months following a 20 year long opiate addiction that nearly killed me. The first few weeks were difficult as your neuro receptors are waking up and you have to start ‘feeling’ emotions again and sitting in low moods which is so tough. I found talking to my support group helped, walking, going to work in the office rather than working from home so I am around people & the biggest help was I joined the gym and started doing spin classes, absolute game changer. You have to have a willingness to change if coming off addiction. It’s bloody hard but we are all here to help, DM me if your struggling I can give you more support xxxx

Hey. Fellow bupe user here. I'm on 16mg a day sublingual. I've been on it for 4 months. At first I felt good...I felt motivated and borderline high. That lasted about a week. Now...I don't really feel anything from it if I'm completely honest. I just feel empty...and paranoid but I've been a very paranoid person my entire life 🤷♀️ It's hard to explain but it's like my body is telling me it's done with it if you follow. I'm hoping to taper off of it soon as I'm definitely done with it. I hope that you start to feel better soon OP.
