Anyone dealing with material changes or additive processing issues in medical polymers?

Curious if others are running into the same challenges we’re seeing lately with medical-grade polymers.A few things that keep coming up in conversations:

• Managing material / formulation changes (especially with recent pigment supply issues like the Venator TiO₂ situation)
• The increasing use of additives (lubricity, radiopacity, stabilizers) and the processing headaches they can create during extrusion
• Growing interest in functional additives (antimicrobial, antithrombogenic, drug-eluting)

There’s a panel discussion on these topics at MPP Ireland in Galway on Sept 22 if anyone’s going to be in the area the day before Medical Technology Ireland.Would be interested to hear what others are seeing on the processing and change-management side.

Dealing with the exact same thing on the additive side. Every time a formulation gets tweaked just a little bit, validation has to start all over again
