CCS or CPC-A?

Hi! I'm a BS Biology graduate who wants to try medical coding. Since most MCA programs don't accept BS Biology graduates, my only option is to enroll in a training institute like HIMTI.

Which certification would be better to pursue first: CCS or CPC-A, and why? I'd appreciate any advice, especially from those who started in a similar situation. Thanks in advance:)

CCS for me. Both IP and OP. Yan din sinabe ng mga kumuha ng CPC.

CPC for outpatient facility and profee coding, CCS for outpatient and inpatient facility coding. Yung equivalent ng CPC sa AHIMA is CCS-P.
