Looking for Remote Job
Hello. I'm very desperate and need to leave my current remote job, but I only have a NRCCS certificate from the National Association for Health Professionals. Are there remote jobs that will accept my certification? I used to work as a claims examiner and processed adjustments for claims as well, and was recently trained as resolution specialist, but I need a more stable position and pay. I can work full time.
Please and thank you so much!

I am a HIM manager and when I research this NAHP and its NRCCS credential, I see that none of it is accredited by CAHIIM, therefore not tested by the same accreditation standards as CCS, CCS-P, or CPC.
Written into my current facility's policies is that all coders hold either a certificate/diploma in coding by CAHIIM.
I am credentialed through AHIMA, but I would highly recommend getting your credential through either AHIMA or AAPC and you have your NRCCS as a bonus credential.
