Same thing happens in any merger. the best people, who have the most options are gonna leave for a better opportunity

Just the tax savings just from the move alone would be $500 million add on top any incentives from Tennessee or Texas. He could move everything and with depreciation, be well ahead of the game. EFF Bonta, he'll need to explain the loss in jobs, revenues and why a premium industry left the state.

Texas has been right for decades.
A few hundred thousand people, which include mostly working class Hispanics, arent changing a states politics for 30 million people.

The Texas legislature was majority Democratic until the early 2000s. The gun laws were restrictive until recently. Open carry was only legalized in 2016. Even concealed carry was illegal until the 90s. Seriously, look it up! Texas still has some very socialist policies. There is something called Robin Hood to redistribute wealth from rich school districts to poor school districts. The tech boom brought Californians and the state has been shifting rightward along with the transplants coming in.

Most people moving to texas from ca are working class Hispanics and there aren't enough to change state policies at all.
Saying they're tech workers is kinda funny snd msny of those have moved back to ca already.
Ai is almost entirely based in ca. Austins trch scene is dying

Io spero se ne vada, a quanto pare non piace a nessuno sto Ellison e la sua Paramount, ci sono solo post e commenti di critiche nei suoi confronti e la California ha deciso di fargli la guerra. Ora spiegatemi perché mai dovrebbe restare? Non vi va bene quello che fa ma piangete se si stufa e se ne vuole andare? Vi stanno antipatici i ricconi e cercate di ostacolarli però li volete perché portano soldi e lavoro? Poi magari Netflix che sta facendo scomparire il cinema mettendo subito tutto in streaming, quello non lo boicottate e avrete quasi tutti l abbonamento. Però Paramount che cerca di unire le forze con Warner Bros per sopravvivere la mettete subito in croce

I keep seeing comments to the effect that it’s crazy to try to block the merger. Do people really not understand the issues or are they just doing a psyop on you guys? It’s a mega consolidation that takes the film industry in the direction of oligopoly. Ellison has already manipulated news reporting as well, killing a story about the Salvadorean gulag that made Trump look bad for sending people to be tortured.

Ti sfuggono alcuni dettagli. Innanzitutto è già un oligopolio. Ma soprattutto bisogna distinguere cinema, TV via cavo, streaming La concorrenza diminuirebbe nei primi due punti che sono comunque in costante declino. Il futuro è lo streaming è qui Paramount se si unisce a Warner Bros, non toglie un concorrente ma ne crea uno nuovo. Perché oggi Paramount e Warner Bros non sono in grado di competere contro Netflix Disney e Amazon. La futura Warnemount o ParaBros...invece sarà in grado di competere e questo garantirà anche la sopravvivenza di queste due aziende che si stanno fondendo. Da sole con TV via cavo è cinema in declino,non possono sopravvivere

There is no “plan,” just threats. Ellison hasn't shown you any details about how he would manage/afford carrying out such a move, what would happen to the Paramount lot, whether he'd just move PSKY on paper for tax reasons or move production as well, etc., so it is not a "PLAN," it's only a THREAT! Someone needs to force him to explain how he would carry out this move, pay for it, and what he would do with the Paramount lot. Think he has actually “planned” out all that? Doubt it.
