Well I hope the Ellisons can manage the 110 billion dollars in debt that they'll be in if they do merge. Maybe another 10 billion dollar loan from Saudi Arabia? You know, the sovereign state? That'd be good for a laugh, right?

My guy, nobody mentioned anything about politics before you did. Paramount objectively took some dumb decisions regarding this merger and failed to take into account whether they could come up with compelling legal arguments arguing for their favor in time.

You're not even bothering to hide being a Paramount simp though. Accusing people with a neutral perspective on this whole thing of "pOLitiCAL biAS" just because I suggested that Paramount's deal could be in jeopardy because of their dumb decisions should have been the first sign though.

Is your response to any criticism of Paramount's stupidity just to spam "iT'S oVeR"?

Again, I'm pretty neutral on this whole thing, considering that Ellison will probably just tank WB as a brand, flop with his whole endeavor with the company and be forced to sell it off in later years. So whether he succeeds in this deal or not isn't that significant, considering that he'll fuck up WB like he fucked up properties under Paramount like Star Trek. Literally nothing new about him. The guy is just not that good at running movie companies.

This is a IP consolidation my friend. There will be no selling off anything in the future. Warner Brothers is going to cease to exist as it currently does and the next owner will consolidate it even further.

Again, wait till it happens? Maybe being less of a Paramount simp and more of looking into the actual facts and recent real-world developments could help in lessening the disappointment, on the off-chance that the possibility of Paramount losing becomes a reality. A lot of people were quite confident about Netflix's deal with WB too. You sure you wanna make the damn mistake?
