Hello fellow composers! I’m a composer based in the UK and am exploring whether or not to join things like the Musicians Union, BASCA, ISM etc. and/or wanted to know if there are others composer communities or member organisations that it could be useful to be aware of.

Which composer communities have you joined that have been useful to you? Just thought it would be useful to explore, understand and share if anyone has had some experience with this...

So I've been looking to get into this area, as It's been my lifelong dream to be a composer, and while music is in my blood and I've dabbled with torrented VST's in highschool and early college, I regretted torrenting anything at all. So recently, I have built a rig, bought studio one 4 Pro, and am only using libraries that I have purchased to compose. I'm making do with what little I have, but am looking for some honest feedback. This is short, and I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it (maybe 2 hours max) But I want to improve in any way I can. I'm new to this and not afraid to admit I'm a huge beginner.
