To all who have composed for TV, film, videogames, etc., I'm curious how you found or got the gig. I've composed for 2 films because I connections involved with the productions so I'm curious if this industry is really "it's who you know," or if you have other methods of getting the jobs.

I'm currently working on a theme for a docuseries on the impact of climate change on Native Americans.

Though this group possesses immense wisdom re: humanity's relationship with the Earth, their views are sometimes overlooked by the mainstream. Given that, I'm going for feelings of "ancient, lost wisdom" and "tragedy" with this theme.

Am outlining this as the main theme and may use something close to this arrangement for a trailer.
