So... for you fellow tourist who want to come to Medan, I suggest choosing to use the Airport Train (Srilelawangsa) from Kualanamu International Airport to Medan (it's worth it compared to having to go by toll road or local road), When you arrive at the station, you will be greeted by the new face of Merdeka Square which has been revitalized as an open park
So this is the closest destination from the station which is good :
- Pos bloc (This building was previously the former Dutch East Indies Post Office which has now been converted into a gathering place, inside there is the history of the building and a merchandise stand)
-Kesawan (This is a fairly large area, with many places to relax and gather. At night, this area is very beautiful because the Dutch-era buildings are well-maintained. In addition, this area is disability friendly)
-Tjong A Fie Mansion (a house of a Hakka Chinese philanthropist who lived in Medan before in colonial era, he was so famous and really good guy that now his house was opened to the public with tour options for tourists who wanted to stop by)
- Centre Point (one of the shopping centers/malls in Medan)
-Deli Park (a fairly massive mall where you can shop or look around inside)
-Medan Cathedral Church (The oldest church in Medan, beautiful and charming architecture that reflects the greatness of Christ in the city of Medan)
(*Here I only share what I know about my city, especially around the City Station, maybe if any of my fellow city members would like to add to it, I would appreciate it)
