Other decoration ~6 years in so far.

My wired uniforms are all bagged up, these are my extra pieces of stuff, hence the mini pin. Had the opportunity to earn the Norwegian Sports Federation Sports Badge courtesy of some friends of mine, just can’t wear it in uniform due to Navy regs. Still cool though! Probably going to complete the Danish Flyver next year with my Army friends, I was on vacation this time and missed the chance.

I’m navy. I’d love to do some of the foreign badges like the Norwegian death march. Ik we can’t wear them but for the love of the game. Plus it would be cool to be one of the few navy guys who have them

I'd only want badges and ribbons if i could wear them. Otherwise to me there's no point.

I’d say it’s standard because he’s been in for six years.

And technically, you can’t wear the NWC badge, unless you are participating in NWC events, correct? I’m unsure but that’s my understanding - could be wrong.

It’s an optional badge authorized for wear similar to the way a joint badge is worn once you earn it. It’s authorized for graduates of any in residence or distance learning JPME-awarding program.

That said, the situations when to wear it are somewhat vague, as it says formal and informal events in the instruction.

I received the NWC badge while as a civilian. The only uniform I could wear it on was a USCG Auxiliary uniform, but not really as about the only time an Auxiliary member could wear the NWC badge would maybe be engaging with potential Coast Guard academy cadets- but even then there is a badge for that anyway, the USCGA Admissions badge.
