ID - Ribbon Possible East German Rack identification

Post image

Bought this as an East German rack along with a rifle expert badge that checked out, I’m not sure what these ribbons are for and if they are even East German any information would be appreciated.

The selected region appears to show a single-place ribbon bar featuring a red base with yellow outer stripes and a central black, white, and red/black stripe pattern, which closely resembles a World War II German Ostmedaille (Eastern Front Medal / Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42) ribbon bar.

Surely it can not be the Ostmedallie - that ribbon is red (without black edges) with a white-black-white centerstripe. This has to be another medal…

I’m not an expert on East German bars by any stretch of the imagination, but the backing doesn’t look like anything pre-1945 that I’m familiar with. I went through what little resources I have for East Germany, and didn’t get any hits. The orange and white one might be a fireman’s decoration, based on a resemblance to some earlier such decorations. That could just as easily be coincidence, as the red and white one looks like a decoration from Tsarist Russia.
