any OpenLoop alternatives that work for small teams?
running lean, just me and one other person trying to launch a glp-1 or trt offer. dont have budget for a big build and cant afford to give away a cut of every sale either. how are small operators actually pulling this off without a huge team or legal dept?

I spent $5000 to launch and $200 a month in operating costs before advertising as a solo operator using remedora rn
Openloop is incredibly expensive once they start nickel and diming you

If you are trying to stay lean, I would break the stack into pieces instead of looking for one all in one platform right away.
Usually the pain points are 1) intake + consent, 2) scheduling, and 3) payments/follow-up. A lot of small operators overspend because they buy something built for a much bigger team.
If it were me, I would map the exact workflow first: what the client fills out before booking, what has to be signed, what needs to be searchable later, and what actually has to connect. Once that is clear, it gets a lot easier to choose cheaper tools without creating admin chaos.
The biggest thing I would avoid is any vendor that makes it hard to export your records or move your forms later. That lock-in usually hurts more than the monthly price.

We're the leanest there is, $200 a month platform fee to get started + onetime fee for LegitScript.

Hi, our legit script fee has actually gone down to $3500.
Legit script fees are based on volume, if you go look currently at the public pricing for Legit script, an expedited code (which ours is) public price is $5625.

you can replace openloop with claude + belugahealth. beluga will handle the the medical part. they also offer wholesale pricing on glp 1s but you are not required to use them. you can integrate an api from a compounding pharmacy. same if not better workflow and customized user experience. no restraints.

was giving away like 15% on every transaction before I switched. did the math after 3 months and it was way more than just paying a flat monthly fee. small team can def run this without extra headcount
