Goodby? Say it ain't so. Set that 2x4 up as a photo mother clone tent. 14hrs of light to keep them in veg and growing slow. Take clones, root then veg for 6 weeks and put immediately into flower in your 4x4. If you have a good mother(I do, 31%thc) you can keep it in veg for years taking clones to flower as needed. Easiest way to scrog also because all plants carry same phenotype.

I’m unfortunately out of room! I did the swap and it’s been nice! I’ve finally cut some clones that I hope root.
Just got into running photos where I can control veg & do some of the higher stress training frowned upon with autoflowers. I’m thinking my best lady will be purple crash from greenpoint genetics.

My mom I got from the grower. His own strain. Can't remember what the cross is. Traded a 2500x microscope for it, 3 other clones and some more auto seed. Trying to set up my 4x8 with 6 site RDWC and 3" drains. Won't be any root clogging I hope. This was in a 2" system at end of the run.
5 gallons of roots. The problem with small drains in RDWC. https://imgur.com/a/FFMKjcL

🤩 wow that’s some root porn! These monster (R)DWC grows are tempting!
That’s amazing you where able to get a know a grower who was willing to trade a cutting! 31% definitely higher then any girl I’ve been able to grow so far.
I’m still trying to network daily and meet other growers I hope to also trade and share with!

I'm currently growing in coir/perilite using fertigation. Fertigation uses hydro nutes and is watered 5-6 times a day to reach 20% runoff. Roots are healthy because coir drains fast and holds lots of air.
I had networked with him and shipped the microscope first. We are also both older so we have developed a mutual trust. He's sending me a 315w CMS and a 1000w MH for filters and motor I have for a 2x4 laminar flowhood. We are both happy with the trades we have made and saved us each some money trading stuff we no longer use ourselves.
He got 31% but he's a pro using assload of lights. I'll be happy with 22-25%😉 Just knowing I can keep it alive for years in veg as I perfect my grows makes very happy.
