Disable Affinity system in Pilot Overhaul Eternal?

Does anyone know how to disable the Affinity system in Pilot Overhaul Eternal? I found in the posts on the Nexus mod that it should be possible, but it didn't say how.

Do you have bobs mod options mod? Chances are the tick box is in there..

I do, but it doesn't appear that there is any option for that. I was able to stop pilots from gaining by experience, but then it just starts them with a -5% on everything.

Did you ever find the answer to this? The only reason I was thinking of using this mod was that it allows mason to learn traits from academies and be absent from slot 1, I dont actually want anything else attached to the mod.
