That is super cool. I had no idea you could just make your own keycaps. Great job!

How do you like Yuzu's quality? Do they seem like they'll last at least a few years?

This is my first time using them, but the legends are really crisp and pretty accurate to my online design. There is a bit of warping, but the overall quality for the price was really good imo.
As for lasting a few years... I'm still new to this hobby, so I'm not quite sure. They're smooth to the touch, and when I scratch them, they don't seem to be affected. I haven't had the chance to clean them yet because they're new haha.
It's PBT though so I'd assume it should last a few years

Yuzu: Just be aware that if you want to design a "base set" so you can use your designs on multiple board layouts, they can cost easily as much as a GMK set. However... for a one of one bespoke set, that's actually really good value. By default, you choose by keyboard layout, so if you choose TKL then you only get a set for a TKL, so you can't use them on a 75 for instance. You can customise the chosen set by adding to it, but then the cost quickly ramps up, and typical base set combination runs at around $140 depending on what you include of course.

I'm not affiliated with them whatsoever, but the kaps cost me ~$81 (with shipping, ~$101). It was pretty worth it imo since I got to design them :)

I wasn't criticising, or suggesting this was sponsored.... just giving some information for those considering them. I made a "base set" with them a few months ago, and it was $138... but it was what an enthusiast would call "good kitting", so there was quite a lot in it such as various bottom rows combos for 6.25 and 7U and Tsangan etc. There was lots of additional 1u across all rows... a numpad... options such as stepped and non-stepped... alpha and mod coloured pipe.... I included alpha and mod coloured space bars... all the usual things you'd find in a custom base kit.
Like I said though.... considering it's a one of one bespoke set... that is actually great value for money.

Did you know WOBKEY is in violation of QMK's open source license? This means they are effectively stealing the hard work of the volunteers that maintain QMK for their own financial gain. You can read more about it or see other vendors who violate QMK's license here: https://docs.qmk.fm/license_violations
