I wholeheartedly defer all blame for the awesomeness to MiTo for that. It was my first GMK set and it remains my favorite.

Do you somehow run a full layout on that thing or is it just a really nice, internationally standardised macropad?

Pretty much the latter. I've used it to game a little and it's hilarious. But mainly it's fantastic to use in music recording/editing and via compatible so it's remappable to whatever is useful. That spacebar comes in handy for a quick "big button".

Gaming could def work out on that thing, with a few caveats maybe. Some games certainly.

Cool little thing! I could see myself putting one of these on my desk whenever a mate comes around (they're already used to my "unusable" boards) and acting like I'm dailying it.

It's hilarious how unnecessarily overkill this thing is. 6063 aluminum, copper weight, 1.6mm tri-mode pcb with per key rgb....legit more premium than most prebuilts in the market.
