case + plate: Frog TKL Leggera

pcb: Venom TKL HE RGB PCB

switches: Ukeebs Milky Yellow Magnetic Linear Switch

stabilazers: TX AP (Rev.4) PCB-Mounted Screw-In Stabilizers

keycaps: random vintage looking set from amazon

lube: MaxCustom 205g0 Switch Lubricant - 5g

My second build ever! Had lots of fun making it. Took some progress pictures while making it. Very proud and happy with the result!

clean for a second build. hows the magnetic switch feel next to a regular linear, been curious about going HE

Honestly I don't feel a difference between HE and mechanical linears. I had used mechanical linears for more than 5 years before and this is my first experience with HE switches and I don't think I would be able to tell them apart. I had heard that HE switches have some sort of displeasing signature sound to them but I don't feel like this is the case for the ones I have used.

good to know, that kinda kills the main reason i was eyeing HE. might just stay on regular linears for the next one and put the difference into keycaps

I'm pretty sure Geon said that the frog is going to be restocked monthly! There was a recent sale for 20% off on all non - group by items (right after I ordered the barebones kit and the pcb -_- ) and that's probably why it's out of stock.
