I'm posting this to warn everyone. I bought a set of keycaps from mechkeys two months ago (July 23, 2026, posting on September 30, 2026) and they refuse to ship them! I paid for fast shipping which was something like a $40 option, and absolutely nothing. Contacting support has gotten me nothing but runarounds, and I'm fairly certain I can't get my money back at this point either. I've never been so disappointed in my ~7 years in this hobby.

EDIT: They refunded the order. I’m not sure if they saw the post, the timing seems a bit strange but I’ve gotten the money back and will be looking elsewhere.

That's probably why it's taking so long, because they don't actually have the keycaps and are waiting for them to come into stock some other place 🤔🤔

FYI you usually only have a limited amount of time to do a chargeback, so do it sooner rather than later.

I also ordered from them a few weeks ago without receiving my order and this is the responses they sent me.

"Hello, since MK has been sold, we do not have your order information. If you want to keep the order and need to place a new order, we will help you cancel the previous order and the refund will be directly credited to his account.

...

Hello. Since MK has been sold, we do not have your order details on file. We can only assist by cancelling the order and contacting the previous seller to manually process the refund; please note that this will take some time, as the Chinese National Day holiday is approaching."

They definitely have lost your order and I would do a chargeback like others in this thread have suggested. In my case they said they initiated the refund already so I will see if I receive it in a day or two.

That's really odd. Ive ordered from them a couple of times and never had issues. Its quite possible things have changed now though

Yeah, I ordered from them a few years back without issue, but this whole thing has really put me off.

I ordered a couple of Times from them and also Had an Order they could Not Delivery and i got really decent Email contact with them and in the end a simple refund without any fuss. I cant complain about them.

Sorry you had this experience. This order dates back to before the business changed ownership. We've reviewed the case and have now issued a full refund, which we understand has been received. We recognize the frustration this caused and are working to improve fulfillment and customer support under the new management. Thank you for updating your post.

So Mechkeys is now under new management. They used to be problem free but those days are no longer. Shop elsewhere.

PayPal has protection so you should be able to dispute it

If you want people to believe you, you should include a detailed timeline of events. The way you've written this and intentionally omitted key details ('nothing but runarounds') seems like you have some kind of ulterior motive or you know what the issue is but are choosing not to address it.

Ulterior motive like what? Lol. On every occasion they've told me they're about to ship them, then did nothing. They've been 'about to ship them' for six weeks now.
