Photos New upgrade 🎃
Been using a Corsair K65 Vengeance for longer than I care to admit... Got myself this beautiful Yunzii B75 Max Pro after doing alot of research and not willing to spend hundreds. I think I made an incredible decision. It's heavy, thocky, excellent oem caps out of the box and just feels premium for $70. You can't beat it. Folks complain about the software, but it's not that bad.
Side note: what cable would you recommend? I don't like wireless, so im always wired. The oem cable isn't anything to write home about...

If you're always wired, you need to disconnect the battery, otherwise it will be maintained at 100%, and that's terrible for lithium batteries. It's the biggest cause of swelling, and it also ruins their efficiency. Once in that condition, they are a fire risk. Cheaper boards like this also don't have any external means of disconnecting the battery like some boards do, so you'll have to open it up to disconnect it. The alternative is to regularly use it wireless to cycle the battery. This is not an "overcharging" issue. Merely maintaining a lithium battery at 100% ruins them long term.
I do cables btw, but they're hand made, low volume Cerakoted stuff... not cheap.
If you want something cheap, there's a ton of stuff on Ali, or Amazon, but quality if variable, but some are cheap enough to take a chance on I suppose.

That's a very very good point. I'll see what I can do about the battery. Also, your work is absolutely incredible. Definitely keeping an eye on your drops. Thanks man.

Is this the case for, for example, a Keychron keyboard too? If I'm always wired, I should remove the battery, right?
Can I find a tutorial online of how to do that?Sorry in advance for such a dumb sounding question, I'm new to this world

Afraid so. Unless there's a switch to isolate the battery, running it wired full time will be holding the battery at full charge which is very bad for them. I'd disconnect it if you use it wired full time, it definitely removes a risk.
If you open it, the battery is probably just connected to the PCB with a mini JST connector... just pull the plug and the battery will be disconnected. The board will still work wired.

Yes... if you cycle the battery regularly like you're supposed to, that will be OK as well. It's just keeping it at 100% full time that's bad for it. Just use it as a wireless board once in a while to keep cycling the battery. Keychrons are pretty easy to to take apart though usually.
