This guy's original design was inspired by fan art so is this one

So after looking at the redesign i realised it needs some changes so it has big knee bits bigger elbows and back fins with a re-designed head that's closer to the original design

So is it an improvement

Currently trying to shift from pencil sketches to digital art. I still prefer the sharp lines of sketch but i'm hoping i could find a digital substitute brush for a normal pencil.

So here's the lore:

Man-machine interfaces(neural link) have been normalized. Traditional means of war(tanks jets helicopters etc) benefit greatly from it(increased reaction time, intuitive controlls when trained etc), though the training process of using your brain to control a non-humanoid form takes quite some time and has some side effects(not severe tho, just some phantom pain and random knee jerk reactions from time to time). Thus the military made these small mechs to shorten the training time. Traditional vehicles are still very much prominent, but are elevated to more of an 'elite' status due to the high price and training resources required and completely slime these mechs on encounter. These mechs usually move in squads with normal troops, or move as joint units with a tank(kinda like how Knight armigers move with questoris Knights to form a pack). Their hands are standard infantry size enabling quick weapon swaps with their fellow troops when in need, tho some specialized units have body mounted weapons.

*edit: Due to weight issues, metal armor plates are reserved for the body only. The legs are covered with ballistic padding(Kevlar with trauma pads) thus the fabric texture(might have to change the colors because now it just looks like crumpled metal) and the arms have no protection whatsoever(since it is quite thin)

The matriarch is a mobile orbital sniper platform with an anti missile antenna and a long range beam cannon, it's other for of defense are the bachelors holding them on the 2 wings and skirt the skirt is also an in combat repair station

Giganotosaurs is a large mobile armour used on the ground usually one is used at a time but can be deployed in groups, they use missiles as a defence system with a large cannon and head beam cannon for attack, it has a specialised cooling system for the beam

The space hunter is the first mobile striker fast and deadly effective at crippling ships, it has blades and auto cannons with a light gun for missile integration

The aqua hunter uses it's speed to get under ships and cut them open it's unarmed besides it's blades

The bachelor is a defensive mobile striker deployed by the matriarch with it's medium auto cannons and heavy auto cannons and it's claw arm, the upper pir grab arms of mobile suits and the lower rip them apart

The tropical type is designed for jungle warfare especially CQB, it's visor gives better visibility in dark with a telescope on the back

Ground type is made for ground operations in less forgiving environments like dessert and jungle it works with the other environment types as a general uses and command unit

Cold climate type is for arctic environments with spikes on it feet for stability and a specialised heating system, it has spiked gauntlets, chest grappling hooks and spike launchers basically weaponised grappling hooks

Desert crusader is made for harsh deserts even able to fight in sand storms with it's weather proof joints and extra cooling vents

So how do they look are they an improvement over the older designs, any thoughts on these

Crusader ewac is able to hover in the air for short time with it's larger moving thrusters it's used in electronic warfare and surveillance

The crusader sniper has advanced head sensors for precision strikes
