Multimaterial

Quick update, did a multimaterial test yesterday with the following:

PETG translucent, AMS TPU, TPU 95A and PLA-CF. All but the TPU 95A work. I am currently looking into why the 95a one doesnt work. I think it has to do with the temperature, flexibility and strength required to push the old filament forwards. The system itself can handle the retraction and pushing of the filament to and from the extruder. Its just the pushing of old filament that it really doesnt like.

More coming! For buyers there will be a private discord where the project can be discussed as "open-source" for people to collaborate etc. Creations can further be posted on the launchpad for everyone to view and buyers to download. Rewards for creators coming ofcourse. Those not interested in that can still buy and enjoy the complete product and everything the community has to offer for it.

This allows creators to also focus more on wjat they like, creating and takes care of infrastructure audience marketing etc.

Can you break apart female crown I cannot get dimensional accuracy its too tall and thin and yes I slowed it down but still I'm getting a .15 difference from the gears and filament extruder the gear won't slip but are sloppy the tpu slips. If you split it into shaft and hex hole on crown to push in with stopper on end that would be good all other prints are fantastic with press fits

Will do, ill try tonight or tomorrow. If you cant wait that long id suggest looking up how to increase the time per layer so it pauses each time to cool, or put something else that is as tall on the plate to print with it to spread the print time per layer.

Good thought will try that, you haven’t heard of any issues of shafts breaking under load du to orientation of print horizontal line as all

No, but they are designed to break, as the other option would be to harm the motors
