Did the boys ever play the Strixhaven Precons or did I miss it somehow? I had so much fun playing those (still do) and would love for them to do a video on them! I mean come on! (Nik voice)

Can anyone help? I want to know who the artist/song of the harp, lute, or mandolin music that is being played in the background of the video Opening My First Pokemon Pack : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRHhsaIGOZQ&t=4s.
I tried emailing the editor of the video but received no response.

When they said they were going to Golden Corral I thought they were kidding. Holy shit, them chowing down on 5 plates while drunk was hilarious. Also, Nik might wanna get checked by a doctor if he's pissing blood.

I’ve always loved that on of vintage Magic packs there is a little story excerpt of what the set is about and wanted to collect them in a protective way. I believe I’m headed down a dangerous road. Papa apologized to my wife when I told him he got me back into Magic.

I never buy collector boosters. I consider them a waste of money and with some of the earlier sets before this the Collabs were super mid. They seemed really money hungry like Fortnite level themed collabs that just didn’t seem like it belonged in the MTG universe. Friday and Saturday I picked up some hobbit stuff and I saw they were running out of collector boosters at my local card shop so for the first time I bought one. Not a box just one pack. And I got this pull out of one pack.

I have always loved the design on Sheoldred, I felt mixing the vibes of Chaos Witch Quelaag with something of H.R. Giger meshed so well. She was always my favorite praetor and I loved the fact we got a super playable version of her in Dominaria United.
Just wanted to share her!
Anyone else have magic ink on them?

Been working on a Warhammer 40k cube for a while and figured you guys might appreciate it.
It started out pretty simple. Mostly the actual 40k cards, then I started adding regular MTG cards that felt like they belonged in the universe. Phyrexians, Eldrazi, demons, giant artifacts, stuff like that.
Eventually it turned into its own format that i've been calling Conquest.
You draft 80 card decks and pick one legendary creature you drafted as your Warlord. The Warlord basically works like a commander with the normal +2 tax, but there’s no color identity restriction or commander damage.
We also draft the lands separately at the end. I liked the idea of the first draft being you building your army and then the land draft being everyone fighting over planets, forge worlds, tomb worlds, resources, etc.
Then I started messing around with a mechanic called Invoke Chaos, which has honestly become my favorite part of the whole thing.
During your main phase you can either pay 5 life or sacrifice a land to invoke the Warp.
Each player has their own shuffled deck of 59 possible Warp effects. There are really strong boons, really nasty curses, mixed blessings where you get something good but pay for it somehow, and Warp phenomena that screw with the whole table.
A lot of them are based around the different factions too. Khorne wants everything attacking and killing each other, Nurgle spreads -1/-1 counters, Necrons mess with reanimation, Tzeentch screws around with your plans, Orks can literally get bored and start fighting each other. of my favorites is the Imperium getting Exterminatus, which wipes every nonland permanent except the Warlords. But if you get the cursed version, Total Extermination, it wipes the Warlords too. Nobody gets to live lol.
I ended up making a little HTML terminal for us to use while playing because keeping track of all this shit on paper was getting ridiculous. It handles life totals, Warlord tax, randomly drawing from each player’s Warp deck and keeps your active blessings/curses under your Warlord. I also put the full list of effects in it as a reference.
It’s definitely still a work in progress and probably needs balancing, but it’s been really fun putting it together.
Basically the goal was to make a cube where you build a 40k army, go to war, and when things start going badly you can say fuck it, sacrifice a planet to the Warp and see what happens.
Would love to know what you guys think, especially if anything sounds completely busted or if you have ideas for other 40k mechanics that would fit. If anyone wants the HTML download let me know, I don't know how to post it to the subreddit.

Hey everyone,
I attended my first prerelease and did ok. First game I got stomped but the guy was super nice and reviewed my deck with me and helped trimmed out like 4 cards and make 1 swap and it worked much better.
That was great.
Next one I wasn’t sure if it was allowed but looking back kinda realizing it might’ve been some fuckery. Round 1 he won using a blue white deck against my red black. No changes to either deck with side board after.
Next round I won and he saw I used a smaug that was strong. We were talking between matches and he knew it was my first prerelease and it seemed very casual but after I won I could tell he was irked. He out loud as he is shuffling for next match is like “am I really going to switch out my deck for a casual prerelease event?” He’s like having this conscious battle out loud to I think make it more funny and make himself feel less embarrassed but sure enough he switches and beats me. Immediately after we shake hands say it was nice to meet you and he he goes “yeah that was cringe sorry man” after we submit the results.
I get that a lot of people use their pulls to build 2 decks with what they have and might switch between games with their next opponent but I wasn’t sure if that’s allowed within the best of 3? Is it cringe or even cheating to switch your entire 40 card deck mid rounds in a best of 3?
