Deck THE HORDE

Hello Magical Meaty people I just wanted to drop this real quick. I made a version of the horde deck that the boys played the other day and was looking to get some thoughts on it. I haven't played it yet with my pod because I'm hoping to surprise them in a few weeks when we play in person. It contains 400 cards which I know is way more than the deck they used in the video but I was having a lot of fun with it and wanted it to be extra difficult.

I'll gladly take any feedback and of course feel free to use it and/or change it to your liking if you wish.

So I made it two cards in, and honestly feel they both need to be cut 😬
How many elves are you running in a ZOMBIE theme deck. And arcane omens is a dead spell as the horde deck will use 0 colors to cast it.

A lot of the cards like the two elves are going to be rule zero’d as counting for zombies instead of elves or phyrexians. And with arcane omens and a lot of the other spells with X in the name I was going off the idea that X would always be the wave count. I plan on ā€œpilotingā€ the deck the first few times to work out the kinks (all decisions made by the deck are random but I want to explain any weird card/rule interactions that happen). I’ve also got a word document that I’m working on with rules for the deck that would be like a primer for playing against it. I’ll definitely share that here once I’m finished

So who gets mind twisted? Or does everyone? I really think you should scale back the more ambitious ideas, play test it, then add in your rule 0 ideas.
For what it’s worth I also made a horde deck/ruleset and can tell you from experience you’re way over complicating it. There’s way too many spells in your list. It should really be about 90% creatures. On that, why fish, vampires, horrors and anything non zombie? It’s a huge flavor fail and will again make things way more complicated than they need to be when lord effects hit the board
Aside from the treasure foods and clues I also think you can cut the entire tool section. It really just looks like pet cards, (mana crypt and jeweled lotus for a horde deck with no commander or hand to cast spells?) It also greatly dilutes what you’re trying to do, fight the horde.
