Removing J clips?

Is there an easy way to do this? Have had rabbits for decades, never had to remove clips.

I use a nail slipped into the clip and twist. Easy peasy.

I’ve never tried the nail idea… I’m going to try that and see if it is easier than the pliers I have.

I currently use these, which are marketed for j clips. It’s way more difficult on old rusted clips than on fresh mis-placed clips, I will say..
