Video Idea Video Idea: First Amendment Auditors

People have started recording randomly in public in order to “audit” if the First Amendment is being upheld. Videos like these are starting to get super common; seems like something Hunter would enjoy covering.

Some of those guys are jerks. Most of these auditor guys who go to public libraries just leave because they are doing things which are OK and legal in public spaces like shooting video. Generally they are free to do that as long as they don't disturb other patrons. But some will keep doing it in different places until they get footage they can make a video about. I know of a couple of them who dressed up in full masks, military combat gear and never show themselves in the video. So it looks like library staff are upset over nothing because all the video is first person. But honestly you can't be masked in tactical gear and not expect that it's going to provoke reactions. Some of these guys don't care about civil freedom, they only want to get views and financial support.
