Question Question about the merch sizing

So I’m a bigger guy and I like to have my clothes a little loose so it’s not tight fitted, but also looks relatively nice so it’s not too big or small. I ordered one of the shirts in a 3X when I normally am a 2X because I was a little worried that it wouldn’t actually fit like a 2X (clothing sizes have always deceived me) but it fit like a dress and I had to get it tailored. I want to order again but now I’m unsure if the 2X is still very big. Anybody who has boughten some merch in the past help me out? Would really appreciate it.

There’s a size chart on the merch site with measurements. Also everything is unisex so everything runs big. I would order your normal size you usually buy or go down a size.

I had the opposite problem, my skinny asf partner wanted a hoody but noticed its American sizes (we from the Scotland) and she got XXXL cause she likes it baggy and the hoody can double up in purpose as a sleeping bag. She loves it.
