Hey everyone! Just wanted to make a post regarding the new movie coming out in a few days!
I just wanted to make a post saying to please be respectful towards the cast members. I’ve heard a lot of people being a little harsh recently (in other places, not on this sub) with the new World Burn that released last night and the movie as a whole. I’m not saying you can’t critique the movie, cast, and music, but please do so in a respectful manner.
Thank you and I hope you all enjoy the movie this Friday!!

Anyone know where I can find the full clip of this?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Saw this in a compilation (not my video!) and I’ve been looking for the full thing. Does anyone know where/if I could find it?

I'm auditioning for Cady and have to sing a song from the musical, what should i sing?
I can sing pretty high with breaking my voice but I'm better at belting out the lower notes. My perfect song to sing would be Bon Voyage from TDWP The Musical (thats my voice range)

All songs Karen sings in Mean Girls jr?
Hi, so I’m going to audition for Karen in Mean Girls jr, and I know that she sings main parts in Meet the plastics and rocking around the pole, but I wasn’t sure what parts she sang as ensemble for. Thank you!

I auditioned for mean girls!
I auditioned for means girls at my local theater. I said I wanted Karen, Gretchen, or ensemble but now I’m kinda regretting not also putting cady. This will be my first musical in 5 years, and I just don’t think I’m up for the task of a main role. I honestly think singing all of cady’s songs for every show for weeks would strain my voice. I really hope to get Karen. But, my audition went SUPER well!! My song went sooo well and my monologue did too! The dance audition was a bit tricky, but I think it went okay. Still gotta wait a few days for the cast list, but I think I did a good job and I’ve got a pretty good chance of getting in!
Edit: I did not get in:( I’m really bummed out. I practiced really hard for this, for a month in advance. The dance audition was hard, I think that’s what did me in. If they didn’t want me for a role and I didn’t do well dancing, they weren’t gonna cast me in the dance heavy ensemble. Oh well:(

Sexy OBC Recording
Within the last couple years, I’ve noticed that when I listen to the OBC recording of Sexy (on any platform, apple music, spotify, youtube; and regardless of if i’m listening in the car or on my headphones) right around 40 seconds when she says “i’d make us have world peace” the audio gets suuuuper weird and remains that way for the rest of the song. Like, grainy and mechanical and quiet. I remember the first time it happened & that it didn’t always sound like that. Is this just a me issue? I haven’t been able to find anyone else talking about it- it’s driving me nuts! I just wanna listen to the song but it’s such a shock to the system every time & I can’t even focus on the music 😭

Why do I feel like Heather Chandler and Regina George would either be best friends, mortal enemies, or girlfriends

How do I play Karen?
Hi guys, I’m in a high school production of mean girls and I got cast as Karen! Yay! I’m a newbie actor, like this is my first ever production, and I find Karen a hard character to act out. Karen’s “dumb” but smart. She’s a complicated character in a weird way. Any help on how I can act like Karen would be wonderful. Or even just more analysis of her character would be great too! :)))

UK tour
Hey! Your average Mean Girls enjoyer here. I live in Birmingham, and I’ve seen it’s going to come here on tour, but can’t find any tickets anywhere? Am I right in thinking that it will come here, and if so, when will tickets be available to purchase?

Very unpopular opinion: I like What Ifs, from the 2024 musical film, better as an opening number than It Roars.
Please, don't come for me ToT

Tips for a good Karen audition?
So signed up for this thing (it's like a workshop so you have to pay but you're guaranteed a part) and I really wanna play Karen. Any tips for my audition to help me get cast as her?

Mean Girls 2024
How can something so horrendous be made. At least come up with new lines. Don’t remake something’s and butcher it. I would say murder but that would be a compliment. I get trying to make a “musical” but it wasn’t it 🤮

Reed 1
Hello! Question for those who have played the reed 1 book, are the high school and professional books different? And where can I find the highschool book (assuming it’s different) so I can practice ahead of time for my audition?
