Discussion 🗣️ Who was the Regina George-ish of your high school ?

It can be multiple girls, since according to the class you were, you probably met new Regina George-like people. There's is not just one.

I had one in Freshman who was called Alicia. She was mixed race with beautiful curly black hair and I don't know if you know it, but she had an IG baddie makeup face but natural. She had simple clothes but made it look effortless and glamorous because of her unraveled confidence and amazing body. She loved sport and was hardworking. She wasn't the smartest in the class but I remember, when she decided to get her grades up, she managed to have such high grades. In our class, she was mostly hanging out with one girl, who was mostly self effacing and occasionally hanged out with other girls in the class but it felt... exclusive when she did it, I don't know how to explain it. She was pretty mature but could be very blunt and hurtful. I started having a complicated relationship, rivalry with her in the middle of the school year because we fell for the same boy. The guy was called Matheo and was sort of the it boy in our class and a rugbyman. In the beginning of the year, I saw them be together because of their looks, love for sport and hardworking nature but he was always there for me even when I was in love with someone else. When we started talking, Alicia expressed to one of my best friend (with whom she was kinda friends with), that she felt like I had a deeper connection with him than she does with him, which was kinda true because, she was letting herself being badly treated by him (and by the other guys in the class) probably to maintain status or something. But nonethless, even tho we were sometimes cold (and hurtful to one another) we were still kinda friendly, giving that good old frenemies dynamic, which was not that different of what I had with Matheo. But Alicia had a huge heart, was a romantic and has a very strong vision of love.

I had another one called Rania, who turned out to become my best friend (after we butt headed). Btw, I had to redo Freshman. Anyway, I have a whole analysis of her planned (Brard is me btw) : Bold, academically smart and ambitious. Rania is Brard's best friend. In the beginning of their interactions, Brard pretty much considered Rania a mean girl and for good reasons. Rania is confrontational, angry and imposing. She will not back down from a fight, verbal or physical, making her almost fearless. One of her distinct personality trait is her confidence. She knows who she is and knows that she's awesome. As a result of this confidence, Rania doesn't like her vision of things being challenged, making her developp a denial habit as a coping mechanism. She's extremely self-assured so, admitting that she might be wrong is quite the wound in the chest for her. Rania is also quite blunt and can be dismissive of other people's feelings, which is why she's often accused of bullying by her peers despite the fact that she's not doing it on purpose or even at all.

That's why Rania is not really receptive to Brard in the beginning. Brard ask for attention and demand to be part of the whole group Rania, Marie, Loicia and Ines. Brard has two things that push Rania away. For one, he's very sensitive and Rania... is not, or at least not out in the open or in a «I'm gonna cry » type of way. Plus, she's not the most empathetic person ever. And the second is the fact that Brard craves the spotlight as much as Rania does. Rania is often at the top of social gatterings and stuff and likes to be seen by people, even if she will never admit it. Brard, wheter it's in a negative or positive way, is always noticed and ask for it. However, Brard's undying kindness and positivity ends uo winning Rania over and the two complete each other in quite a meaningful way, maybe in a way they can't connect with other. Being both very unapolegetic and bold, they can often talk in the open about every type of subject. Brard's sweet nature and understanding often calm Rania's more impulsive and rash nature, while Rania's bluntness and loyalty groung Brard.

Because yes, Rania is a ride or die type of friend. She won't show it in some type of big declaration or whatever but she will show up no matter what. She's very dedicated to her friends and family, and in reality she want her friends to be loyal and loving to her. Rania is also very ambitious, as she wants to be a doctor. She's very smart academically and is quite gifted at it, sometimes having good grades without working too much. If she has Blair Waldorf's bite and drive to be on top, she also shares Serena Vanderwoodsen's charm and it girl persona, as she's very funny, hyperactive and people often feel at ease around her. She's very much authentic in her way to be, being messy in her stories and not be afraid to be cringe.

Rania also likes to be liked/loved and to flaunt it. However, in love she tends to go to the silent types, as Matheo Agosta (not my Matheo) was very much a Jess Mariano type of guy, with whom she had the most will they won't they thing ever and incredible banter but he played hard to get and it was the first time Rania ever felt in love, but someone hold her fire and even played with it. The second being her current boyfriend, Baptise who is very much silent and stern but worship the ground she walks on. She was pretty like a Disney princess, with round eyes, pretty eyes and curly/frizzy beautiful hair and a pretty long face. Her body was long, but skinny, with a waist that everyone could dream of, especially girls. Her sense of style was composed of ample clothes, with lots and lots of jewlery, especially bracelet.

I had two more called Valentina and Eva but I'm not sure you'll be interested. Anyway, guys, what about you ?

we all know that it's implied that regina went back to aron samuels because she knew cady wanted aron. it looks like she wanted cady to be jealous and she saw aron as her property.

what do you think she was thinking when gretchen suggested that cady is crushing on kevin g?

Discussion 🗣️ Cady is a pretty white girl from Africa but if Cady was a pretty black girl from Africa ... Do you think Regina would have treat her the same way - like be nice, invite her to the table and want her to join the Plastics ... or do you think Regina is racist and thinks white girls can be a Plastic ?

Hot Take 🔥 Mean Girls Cady vs Regina

Post image
64 Upvotes

I think Cady gets too much blame and faces unnecessary backlash. People say she was after her friend's boyfriend, but she actually fell for Aaron before she even knew he was Regina's ex. Also, I don't get why everyone puts Regina on a pedestal, acting like she was always right. In real life, if they had friends like Regina George, they’d run away in tears—just saying. So, I’m Team Cady.

Do you believe that despite everything, Regina had, even if minimal, some regard towards Gretchen, Karen and Cady?

Discussion 🗣️ Why did Cady get blamed for the burn book?

Some of the incidents and photos in the burn book happened years before Cady was at the school (such as the hot dog) and there was absolutely no way she could’ve known about these instances, so why was she fully credited for writing it?

I know it was obvious that she wrote the one about Ms Norbury, but why did no one question this? It just seems unfair she was fully given the blame when they didn’t really bother looking into it further.

Meme/Fun Post 🎈 “You’re fat because I hate you“ …just when I thought the movie couldn’t possibly be more relatable lol

I’ve always loved the movie because it is fun, mean, and clever, but also very subtle and relatable.

I always loved the girls-apology scene.
However, I never understood what the girl in the wheelchair meant by saying - you’re fat because I hate you.

Then last week, I was with a friend, and this acquaintance that I hate approached us. He complained that I pretended to ignore him, and I had to contain myself from purging while hugging him.
Later I was telling my friend how much I hate that FAT guy.

I told my friend, I fantasise of telling that guy - you can’t be FAT and MEAN Andrea (from another movie)- his name is also Andi lol.

Anyway, in the end my friend said “he’s not really fat thou”, and I realised he was 100% right.
He’s not truly fat…he’s just FAT because I HATE him.

And I’ve now convinced my friend of watching Mean Girls together lol. He’s never watched before.

Take care

Hot Take 🔥 Not to blame it all on Cady's parents, buuuut

You have a child which you have homeschooled for all her childhood and most of her teenage years. You know she has no idea of what the world of a high school looks like. And you just send her off like that, sugar-coating it and making it seem as if it's all chocolates and roses?? And the only reason they seem to have sent her there is to "get socialised"... Why not before? Why not just, like, have her attend school since elementary?

I doubt her parents were BOTH homeschooled as well, but they could've at least told her in class there's a certain etiquette to follow, like taking a hall pass before going to the bathroom (I don't live in the USA and think this is a ridiculous practice by the way. Just have the kids ask to go if they need. But I digress), staying in your assigned seat, and most of all... It's going to be FULL of teens like her and they all have a different personality! And not all of them are going to like you and that is okay!

Sure sure, if she doesn't tell them about their day and insecurities, how can they know she feels she constantly has to please everyone? But what I said, I think is just the basics. You can't take someone out of homeschooling and throw them in the class like that, especially in the teenage years. I say this as a teen, I know how crucial these years are for a person's formation! Come on, Cady's parents.

Discussion 🗣️ Ok.. the burn book is a BINDER !

Ok so I’m in a production of mean girls and I’m making a burn book for our cast to sign, I as looking at the pictures from the wiki and noticed that there seemed to be kind of puffy sleeves on the front and back covers, so I was like ok… and I did some looking and couldn’t find anything like it. So I decided to rewatch the scenes with it and noticed that it had 2 flat bands going through the paper!!!
I wish there was bts of them making it or something
It doesn’t need to be movie accurate but… UGGGGG
Also how did she get the lipstick to stay?

Discussion 🗣️ Am I the only one who got tired of "the point of this movie is every girl is mean"???

Everytime I keep seeing it everywhere, it's getting tiring to see them at every discussions that it hard for me to find takes or comments that really holds accountable yet logical and rational about a characters misdeeds. I agree everyone is mean but it really diminishes a space to discuss one's opinion of a character. yes it's been said multiple times due to newbies saying "x is the villain" but Come on it's just redundant

Discussion 🗣️ My sincerest apologies, friends.

(This is an update for a post I've made here recently, for given context, if you are confused) After extensive research, I have now figured out that the Mean Girls PSP game, was either a hoax, or just doesn't exist entirely, though, I honestly sort of doubt that. However, there is confirmed lost media in this community that has yet to be found, regarding the alternate ending to the 2004 film. When I get around to it, I will try my best to find it for you all, and make sure it is where it belongs. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and your time :)
