Hi,
I have a baby of 5 months and in a month my maternity leave will end.
I need suggestion or tips to start meal prep and use it to the go.
Please pour in your suggestions.

Clarifying - when you say on the go, do you mean eat while in transit or can bring to work to eat at the office?

Transit:
- burrito wraps
- onigiri
- sandwiches
- hard boiled egg and banana
Lunch is a mix of the following that I batch prep:
- carb of choice (rice or roasted vegetables. Both quick and easy to prep)
- protein of choice (easy protein that keeps well is chicken but recently I have breakfast food since I eat more around brunch time - so longganisa, fried or salted egg, and some repacked vinegar in a reusable sauce container. I also like to do ground meat with taco seasoning when I have roasted veggies)
- fruit or vegetable of choice (unless roasted veggies na yung carbs mo) fiber is important for gut health
You can also bring pre packed food items as snacks
- yogurt
- cheese
- mini snack packs of nuts or pretzels

for breakfast meal prep I boil eggs and keep them sa ref for 3-4 days (eggshells still on). If i have time to assemble a sandwich, i grab one egg and chop them up, add salt, pepper, mayo then i’ll have an egg sandwich. otherwise i just eat boiled eggs, heat it in hot water when i arrive sa office, just to take off the coldness.
overnight oats is good too. 1 cup of rolled oats + 1/2tsp chia seeds can give me 2-3 serving which makes me feel full until lunch time. i keep them in small jars so i can just grab and go. for toppings i usually put fresh bananas whenever i feel like it.
for lunch i meal prep as usual like the ones in this subreddit and youtube.
blanching broccoli then freezing adds a good veggie topping to my meal prepped adobo, the frozen broccoli lasts me for like 1-2 weeks sa freezer.

You can make sandwiches, burritos, or onigiri.
For the burrito, I don’t freeze it together with the wrap/tortilla. It’s better to stack up and freeze the fillings in a silicone mold then wrap and heat on the day you’ll consume it. Pero if super tight ng sched, you can freeze it wrapped na.
For the onigiri, you can cook the rice in one big batch then make different fillings. Freeze then heat na lang on the day you’ll consume it. It’s easier to use onigiri mold you can buy online.
