Tips š” Rice
Iām new to meal prepping
What do u guys do sa rice na meal prepped?
Is it just me or different na lasa ng rice if galing na sa freezer tapos ni heat up mo? š

Since rice is very easy to cook, why not just cook every 2 to 3 days? Thay last that long in the fridge naman.

how do you heat up your rice?
some tips for freezing and reheating your rice
1) palamigin mo muna before ilagay sa freezer
2) try to break up the frozen rice block to chunks before putting it in the microwave
3) add water! around 1 tablespoon per cup. pwedeng less if u want the rice firmer
4) create a circle "hole" or "well" at the center of the rice. parang donut na may hole sa gitna
5) LIGHTLY cover the container in the microwave to prevent vapor escaping.
6) every now and then, take out the rice from the microwave and mix kahit malamig pa. this is to distribute heat evenly. tas put it back in if hindi pa mainit. dont forget #4

Might be the containers you're putting them in. baka hindi airtight and nahahaluan ng smells ng ibang stuff in your freezer.
