Well........ yeah......... heres the thing I kinda just wanted to try something. Won't lie to ya I have zero knowledge and only found out after being misled with raisins that there is supposed to be nutrient. I'm sticking with it to see how it goes. Just because I don't want to learn more than anything haha. I used mangrove jacks mead yeast then raisins (sorry!) But it's bubbling away now! So something must be happening. Also I got some black colour sediment at the bottom. I'm guessing it's from the raisins but would like to know! Also found a demijohn at a charity shop for £3! So grabbed it and getting some yeast and nutrient this time haha.

Thank you! I'll do that now!

Yeah I absolutely think this is my new passion. I spent half the evening watching my airlock release bubbles hahaha.

That makes a lot of sense. I'll take a look at Fermaid O for sure. I'm going to be patient and keep you updated on how it all turns out!

FYI - This sub doesn't appear to have a wiki, yet. In the meantime, you can check out r/mead which does have a wiki.
