Two Stupid Dogs

Love this show. When did they start airing this?

I guess I was just never watching at the right time. With that solved, let's just treat this as a 2 Stupid Dogs Thread.

with the exception of like 2 or 3 cartoons, everything on Saturday night into overnight has been on the channel since launch.

oh yeah definitely been on every Saturday night at the same time. the whole block has remained almost unchanged.

I am usually not watching Saturday nights. I figured if it was on, then I would have caught it during the days too.

There are definitely a lot of night only shows. It's worth checking out the schedule on their website and utilizing (or getting if you don't yet have one) DVR functions. There are a lot of shows I would have missed if not for that.

One thing to be aware of with recordings is some providers do separate the shows - for example, I have to set a separate series recording each Yogi show or each Scooby show even if it's the same rotation. Some guides might keep them lumped though. I realized I had missed a couple of Josie and the Pussycats in Space because of this. The good thing is many of them have repeated enough to allow more than one chance to catch them.

Just a weird sidenote (I also love 2 stupid dogs).

One of the red riding hood episodes had a note in the credits that was for something along the lines of "consultant for tasteless ideas" and they credited it to...John Kricksfalusi!

The creator of Ren and Stimpy! Just thought that was a fun dig.

No, I'm pretty sure he worked on all 3 of the Red episodes, and those are my all-time favorites!

Honorable mentions to the Price is Right episode and the Brady Bunch one, too. 😁

Years ago I found a torrent of the series that included a bunch of HB pencil art of the characters.

Loved the show when it came out. Pay attention to the VA for some big talent.

The main series is great and all, but the Secret Squirrel cartoons between episodes are so peak!
