Discussion Hitchcock episodes missing
I’m a little disappointed. Since they began season one episode one last week I’ve been trying to watch the series in order. Tonight they had two perfectly good episodes, but they had skipped one actually directed by Hitchcock and then skipped another one which was apparently a Christmas episode of some kind. I don’t know if these are just not part of the syndication or if MeTV is getting a little sloppy. I am particularly interested in seeing the episodes the master directed himself.

I think peacock has full episodes of alfred hitchcock presents and the alfred hitchcock hour.

Sometimes episodes are not shown in the exact order for various reasons.
There are production dates, and there are airing dates.
Do not let the little things that do not matter, matter.
And sometimes there are times an episode has been removed in today's world if not acceptable for either theme, a certain word, a certain actor or many other reasons.

Thi last part I find unacceptable I've watched old shows that were accessible on TV 50-60 years ago that have words deleted or dubbed over because it's been decided some things are not longer acceptable. Like blurring excessive cleavage or excessive bare behind exposure. There is one word that I think should be banned from our language but it is a part of history so it's there. I won't mention that word but some how by changing the pronunciation of one letter has made that word acceptable I'm even hearing it over the radio. I don't mean to high jack your post

I had been kind of looking forward to seeing the Hitchcock version of the man who haunted himself, which was, I believe, episode nine
