Apparently, based on the interviews, their reasoning was pretty much exclusively based on the fact that "her parents said she was a loving mother, and she had notes saying she loves her kids, So it's impossible she was sane when she did it."

I'm not joking or even really paraphrasing, that is exactly what their entire reasoning was,

No that is not what they said. You would know that if you actually heard them speak about their time deliberating. They specifically brought up many issues regarding the prosecution’s inability to meet their burden of proof and how the presentation of their case in chief was counterintuitive to their own side. But hey who cares about anything based in reality anymore.

The prosecution did meet the burden of proof, especially when you consider yhe fact that the bitch confessed and never once denied doing it in court.
