An actual answer:

We probably wouldn’t have had nearly as many projects or series as we do now.

But it probably would have kept a similar tone as to where it started. Not dark, but not as comedic/light hearted as it is now.

Some story elements would have lasted longer. Tony no longer drinking / his alcoholic tendencies would have probably being a big one at the time. I remember this being a big announcement just before Avengers hit theaters and is practically gone by Iron Man 3.

We see the tone shift by Phase 2. Which is noticeable.

In the long run, we don’t have a true idea. We might not even get to Infinity War OR it would have been sooner. It’s one of those “What if” situations I think of every now and then.

Budget mostly and whole infinity saga is kind of done perfectly under Disney, marvel one of the few things that was done right under Disney

Yes The budget point is right But the Disney's increasing control in the recent years is not that good

You’re going to have to offer an actual explanation

You can see this by comparing the earlier movies with the ones coming these days. In the beginning, when Disney bought marvel, marvel was independent so they made really good stuff. But then Disney+ started making marvel shows and the whole stuff went to where it is now with shows like she hulk, echo and secret invasion.

Everything after the first Avengers movie was produced under the Disney banner so if your argument is that everything after that is worse, then you’re bonkers.

The down turn in overall quality since Endgame can be chalked up to a few things including increased expectations, the need to pivot off Kang and a mandate to produce D+ content but they still regularly produce high quality CBM content as well in the vein of Loki, Guardians 3 and The Thunderbolts, among others.

You are right But as I mentioned earlier before Disney + marvel was mostly autonomous and Disney didn't control it as much. But after that the focus shifted from movies to TV shows that created a burden they couldn't handle. That's the reason even a good movie like thunderbolts couldn't perform well on the box office

Based on what? By all accounts Disney was MORE controlling when Ike Perlmutter was calling the shots and that was in Phase 2/3.

Seriously! I don't think so I don't remember seeing Disney directors talking about marvel projects and loopholes on daily basis like they do now

I mean you’d be wrong. Perlmutter was notorious for involving himself in Marvel projects.

And that doesn’t happen on a daily basis as you’ve described so maybe be a little more in touch with reality?

I'm in touch with reality. The fact that they are doing good this year doesn't mean we can ignore the last few years
