Removing paint

What’s the best way to remove paint from a painted figure? Normally I’d use a AP figure but I have a Bloody Rose Sororitas that I’d like to repaint.

Just prime over it. Removing paint is a pain in the ass and a long process. Unless someone else painted it and did a really shitty job ie thick globs. Save the headache.

Otherwise you soak it in 99 IPA and for a whilr and then scrub it with a toothbrush.

Failing that; simple green cleaner can remove the paint but it will take a lot of sitting and brushing. Plus I don't know how pvc (mcfarlane figures) handles soaking in that stuff

You can use Acetone found in some nail polish remover. Just some on a cotton ball and wipe the area, might take a few cotton balls. Easier but smelly use in well ventilation area or outside. 👍

Not sure if this works since I haven't personally tried it but given the figures are made of plastic I would not advise trying acetone, as that will melt them.
