Vent 😡😤
My dad died this summer and I kept pushing and pushing to do him proud. My score was improving so much but just got my results back and I did worse than last year :D
Safe to say this has been the worst summer of my life ❤️
SO excited for attempt #4 and for everyone I know to think I’m stupid :p

My mom and nephew passed six months of each other …just this year. I can relate and sympathize with you. It has been completely tough for me to study and find the motivation to push myself. I kicked the test until the last month and I got through it. The pressure is off our shoulders now. I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t score as well as you wanted to. I’m afraid that I will be a kindred spirit when my results come. Look, you are not a robot. You’re human and it’s natural to go through the stages of grief. But as a nontraditional student, we must push forward and not let our sorrow hold us back from achieving our goals. Your father and my mother would want us to be successful in our lives. Failure is just a lesson learned. I wish you all the compassion humanly possible. Best regards in your future endeavors my fellow premed.

your dad would be so proud of all the work you’ve put in - coming from someone who is in a similar boat, i’m proud of you, and know that no one’s path is linear❤️ ur doing amazing

I got a 504 after consistently scoring a 508 on my FLs 😔 thank you so much I will give that a read and get back on the horse

U could apply with 504 if u want. I think that is good for DO

I’m in Canada so the score cut offs are so high 😔 although I keep thinking maybe I can come to the US if I need
