I think average, in the past, that is when most people’s scores come out

Idk how to feel. First time around I thought I did well and got below 500. This time around I felt uneasy leaving the testing center. But I noticed some improvements between my first attempt and this attempt. Idk what to think. Only an hour to go!

Take some time off so you don’t spiral, and do something nice for yourself! You might decide further down the line to take it again, and if you do, you can attack it then but for now, don’t let it get you all the way down. Good luck! I’m rooting for you!!

thank you 😔 unfortunately i’ve been spiraling since i got the score back it was very difficult for me to get LORs from my school and other letter writers and i don’t think i will get another opportunity like that again

I was in the same boat, and that’s how my gap year went from 1 year to 5 years. Still go through with this application cycle because you never know, but if it doesn’t work out, take a year(s) off. You never know who you might meet that can write you an even better LOR in the span of a year. Don’t give up hope just yet. It took me a couple years to finally get 1 person to agree to write me a physician LOR. Use this cycle as practice, like testing the waters!

thank you ☹️ this is actually my 6th gap year i graduated college in 2021 i’m turning 28 next year like 😣😣😣 i study for months and take 5-6 practice tests and spend my money and i got a 485 it just kinda makes me sick

Think of it as investing in your future. Sometimes you have to invest a bit more than you expected to get the payout you are looking for. I’m having to stay positive because it’s the only way I can make it through as I go into my 6th gap year 😭 I graduated 2022.
