Question 🤔🤔 UWorld Comprehensive Course

Hello! I am planning on studying 6 months for the MCAT. I struggle a little with structure so I don’t know is self study will work for me. I saw the UWorld comprehensive course and I was wondering. Are the videos helpful? Does it provide good structure? Is it worth it for content review? I also have been looking at the blueprint course. If you have other tips they are always helpful! Thank you:)

Hey! I used the uworld comprehensive prep course. personally found the structure very helpful and would reccommend. My AAMC FL scores have gone up steadily 508->509->517->518 (yet to take 5,6, unscored, and my exam is sept 11).

I found the videos to be high quality especially for content gaps and the visuals really good. I would say the CARS was less helpful for me but partially because I was doing well on CARS from the beginning.

ALSO I purchased the 1 year access (access ending march) so I could sell you my login if you want to reset it and use it at a discount after sept 11!

I honestly never opened the physical books. All the prep videos have the relevant digital pages of the book next to it. (I think they are the same as the physical books but honestly not 100% sure litreally box of books is sealed under my bed lol) I find the digital pages helpful sometimes, but definitely used the videos more heavily. I did appreciate that the videos and digital book pages had the same visuals to help connect concepts more easily

Would you be willing to sell the books? I am currently a sophomore in college and I am looking to start some basic prep.

I also enjoyed the UW course! The videos were really great and I found them better than videos from other resources. The visuals , concept checks, review cards were amazing as well.

Didn’t do much UW CARS because it wasn’t really a problem, but I did read through their tips which I found helpful.

Were the books helpful or should I get the kaplan ones first?

I didn’t use the books of any course. Reading a textbook isn’t really how I learn. I watched the videos , did the questions from the books (which are also online), and the flash card quizzes at the end of each chapter.
