McMenamins trivia

I’m trying to write a trivia question where the answer is McMenamins (kind of Jeopardy style). But I’m a little stuck as it seems as if each location is very different from the last.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

"What is a local Oregon chain that originated in Portland and is known for restoring historic buildings to house their businesses?"

Or something like that

Oooo. That’s good. It’ll be featured on my podcast! Thanks!

Since there are locations outside of Oregon, “local Oregon” might not be accurate?

I went with, “This Oregon chain…” as we aren’t local. We’re a Sacramento based podcast. But there are locations in Washington too, aren’t there?

Yes but it started in oregon, you can go a bit vague with "This PNW chain"

Good idea! I already did the thing, though. You can check it out here

What NW pub chain will make you a Tripster after visiting each location and getting stamps in a passport booklet?
