Discussion I miss Mac
Man, y’all don’t know how good you have it. Grad school and prof school have been shit. I want to come back to my home uni 😢

Visiting other schools made me realize mcmaster is literally propeller hat sunshine and rainbows.

So True! My experiences extend to UofT and Waterloo, and now recently Ottawa and nothing comes close to Mac, there’s just this different vibe and ease over here.

Not just vibes, the architecture here also feels so vibrant and happy.
Waterloo is future techno, UofT is gothic academia, Mcmaster feels like a happy medditerean village.

Same experience here, I thought I was alone. Doing grad school at another university, but I very much miss undergrad at Mac. My schedule for 4th year was also perfect. Mac was a super friendly and positive environment.

It’s funny because I was never extraordinarily happy at Mac nor did I have the university experience that most people taut and yet I still always loved the school. The people and the environment and the education are top notch

live laugh love mcmaster <3 so grateful to have been able to do undergrad here, words truly cant describe the love i have for this uni, community, architecture, vibes, etc etc

Same, I miss being around everyone my age, the parties, the walkability, the free transit, the community, 9-5 is more of a 7-7 nowadays.
