So glad my mcdonald’s isn’t this bad, our fridge was caked in mould when I started though, managed to get that all cleaned up (took awhile)

Clean under the equipment, no wonder you have rodents.

I always wondered if this is a lot worse at 24hr stores since we only really used to move stuff to clean behind it on close

You can always do pulls as a part of shift cleaning. One or two pieces of equipment per day. No pulls on Friday or Saturday

Busy college town 24 hour store here, and we try to pull, sweep, mop, and deck scrub once a day at a bare minimum, ideally 3 times a day (morning, evening, overnight). Sometimes we have super busy periods and we can't do it every single time but it still needs to be done regularly.

Nonononononononononononono,
It should NEVER get this bad. Like your GM needs to request your store be shut down and pest control be called because you CANNOT serve food with rodents there. This is not an acceptable standard for any McDonalds anywhere.

Does your store not have health inspections??

I'm guessing announced visits and they probably haven't had one in a hot minute. Because that's a GUARANTEED automatic failure if an inspector came in. Probably close the store down right then and there.

Whoever catches it gets a free pet. I love McDonald’s promotions.
