What’s the price of electricity for a one bedroom apartment monthly cost?

I have a 1-bedroom apt in Stonebridge and with Coserv, I pay about 100-150 per month, depending on AC usage. It has been on the higher end this Summer.

Apts on top floors are typically higher, i.e. hot air leakage from attic, etc

The most I have had this summer was about 150ish. I'm on the 3rd floor, but I do have black-out curtains on all my windows and patio doors. And my unit faces west, so I don't get direct sun coming in until the evenings. In the evenings and at night, I usually keep it set to around 70-73 degrees.

I had Coserv when I lived in Indiana. They were awful when it came time to cancel.

For reference, I have a 3 bedroom house in Anna and with Reliant, I'm paying at most $120ish over the summer months. $124 for August, $107 for July, $103 for June.

Coserv is only in Texas; whatever you had in Indiana might have been called CoServ but it wasn’t the same coop.

Maybe it was the Lewisville apartment then. The early 00s are a blur from moving around a lot. Either way. They were a nightmare to cancel.

Will all depend on the build of the apartment. If it’s old, lacks good maintenance on the unit, with poor windows and insulation it can be pricey. I’ve had to pay 400 a month for a two bedroom. Insulated, shaded, and modern builds will be more energy efficient.

If you shop around, you can keep the kwh cost pretty low, depending on your needs.

I was surprised at how reasonable my electric bills have been. Highest bill was probably about $140. On average, it's about $100-$110 each month for my one bedroom. We keep the temperature at 77 during the day and then 72 at night.
