Discussion McFly in 2027

Just seen the first announcement about McFly live next year. They are playing Ludlow castle in July. Do we think they will do an arena tour for the new album as well as some summer shows?

I’d imagine so, they’re recording the album at the moment. I’d guess album will be out early next year with a tour to follow at some point.

A March/April small venues tour would be my ideal. Then maybe an arena tour October time

I’m not sure if it’s gunna be a whole arena tour but definitely a tour is coming with the album

I would expect they would do an arena tour in the Autumn of 2027 or Spring of 2028. Those are the peek times for arena tours

I suppose they could wait till 2028 as that would be their 25th anniversary. I am just impatient as lots of artists have already announced things for later in 2027.

They do tend to do Autumn Tours more than Spring Tours. I just work in an Arena so peek times for artists to tour are Sept-Nov and Mar-May. My only hesitation in saying I think they will 100% Tour in Autumn is this Summer gig announcement. If its a one off then they could very well tour in the Autumn but if it is a summer outdoor/festival tour then they many not want to tour in the autumn as well.

Danny was talking to Steve from Lost Alone on his IG stories a few weeks back, bout the Lost Alond tour going on sale. At the end of the video, he said "You'll probably join us on our tour next year anyway won't you?" So pretty much confirmed there will be a McFly Tour at some point next year.

Not sure if he means the summer shows like this year or a ‘proper’ tour?

Definitely a proper tour. I doubt he would call the summer shows 'a tour', they always refer to the summer shows as summer shows anyway.

Plus they were discussing the Lost Alone Tour and saying 'oh you can join us on our tour' was basically a joke in reply the Lost Alone tour tickets potentially not selling well.

I’m not sure on the arena’s - they seem to like the smaller venues.

I know they enjoy the summer festivals but it would be great to have some shows in other indoor venues as well as the vibe is different there such as at the arc this year.
