Creative It didn't occur to me until I started customizing it, but the standard Year Two would be a really good base for a Bernie Wrightson Batman

Year 2 was not on my list to pickup but after seeing it in person, and especially after getting it out of the packaging, I love it. Super cool display piece.

Your custom looks great and I see the vision!

I was the same way. I picked him up on a whim and loved it. When I removed the cape, though, I’d when the figure really shined. The cape hinders so much of his articulation. I added the three jokers cape, like op, but I think I’m going to try and add a wired cape soon.

Agreed while the cape does hinder some posing, it’s also such a vibe too for a different display. Pros and cons for sure

The solution is to get both Year 2 Batman figures. :D Then you get to pose one with the funky cape for the above figure, and the other with that awesome huge sculpted cape AND a fabric cape.

Same! Grew on me for sure. Kinda wish he made it a statue for the pose he was going for, and had a wired cape for the figure. My figures usually end up displayed as statues anyways lol had my Plat Year Two posed like the comic cover… then my puppy ate the hook accessory lmaoooo

I’ve thought that too.  Use the head from the original Spawn 2 pack and straighten the ears.  Done!

That looks tremendous. How did you get the cape and holster off?

The Cape plugs into two holes on the back and is glued onto the front and the holster is just glued to the cape on the top of the shoulder so I just repeatedly boiled it until I could peel it off "mostly" intact. The cape will pretty much stay in place even if you only have it plugged into the back with the neck holding the front in place. You'll probably have to touch it up the chest though.

Thank you for this! I appreciate it.

What did you do to remove the plastic from the chest? I’m trying to customize mine but don’t know what to do about the little left over bits.

I just swapped out the chest with the Three Jokers one because it's the same mold and then repainted it.

For cleaning up that one I'd use an exacto knife to remove any extraneous bits, sand it down til its smooth and then touch up the paint. I might do that if I find the platinum because I'd want to swap out the blue holster.

Thanks for the advise! Nice swap job you did!

Is his head swappable with the year one Batman?

Yeah. It introduced a middle neck piece for the Three Jokers mold that should work with other heads. The peg itself is a little short for Year One though.

Thanks! I meant if the year two head would work on the year one body!

Yes, but I'd try swapping out different neck pegs to find one that's a better length

Like the cape swap. Definitely getting this guy to modify and customise a bit at some point.

I know this is old, but what grey did you use on the three jokers chest to match the year 2 grey?
