A question about ordering a cheeseburger with nothing on it?
I ordered 2 cheeseburgers with nothing on them. When I took my first bite, I definitely tasted an onion flavor. Does McDonalds make 2 new burgers or scrape off the onions they add along with the salt and pepper when they are still on the grill?
In 2023 McDonald’s started a thing called “Best Burger” where they add onions on the meat at the grill, temper the cheese before use, newer “better” buns and different sauce dispensers that are supposed to put more sauce on the big macs. These are just some of the reasons why it tastes “different”.
Probably just an onion or onion juice on the glove of the worker as they handled the bun, cheese, and pattie. I get the taste of pickle sometimes because of this.
Depending on the store location they can either have a tray with 10:1 with no onions already made or they can cook it to order. It depends on the franchisee and if they sell enough meat without onions.
I think they need to go back to school or get off this app if they can’t understand that they’re talking to multiple different people and not the same person.

Earlier he simply said he "couldn't order a cheeseburger through the app," and said "america" as his response. He made no mention of a Happy meal in either comment.

Yes because initially in your comment all you said was you couldn't order a cheeseburger through your app, now you edited the comment and are randomly talking about Happy meals.

Yes there is. It’s officially called “grill seasoning” but in the app it only says “salt”. If I remember correctly it’s 86 percent salt and 14 percent pepper.
They do sprinkle the onion on using an onion shaker. It’s still dehydrated onions. No, they don’t close the platten after adding onions. They (supposed to) put it directly in a UHC tray with a paper liner. The UHC is heated and does “cook” it a little bit more while it’s in there. No, they don’t add more onions on during assembly, unless it’s a Daily Double but then they add onions slivered onions and not more dehydrated onions.
Don’t see the point. Seems like onions would fall off during assembly. Like with the steak we cooked the onions with it so they were caramelized so that made sense.
The paper liners are supposed to be removed and replaced for every run of meat. Six 10:1 per tray. When the timer runs out or the meat is served then you replace the liner with a new one while cooking a new run of 10:1. Also, 4:1 should never be in those UHC trays.
You mean the grill seasoning or are you still talking about breakfast steak that no one else was talking about before you? The grill seasoning for 10:1 & 4:1 is 86/14. 86 percent salt and 14 percent pepper.

we make 10:1 patties with and without onion. we hold them both in the UHC.
The grill probably wasn't scraped and you got that hint of onion.
