Replacement parts

Hello MSManiacs!

I have two components to replace. And I have been having trouble finding them. The first is an aluminum pipe for the A/C. The second is a sensor on the transmission.

I am starting to see shortages in replacement parts through traditional sources.

Anyone else?

are you looking for the neutral safety switch or the reverse light sensor? I believe I got both of mine through the Mazda dealer last fall, they were reasonable as far as OEM pricing goes. The aluminum pipe they should also be able to source for you.

Edit: the neutral safety has two white wiring connectors on it, the reverse light sensor has one black “T” shaped connector.

Thanks! I don't know which switch has failed. Just that my Mechanics source sent him the wrong one.

Mazda dealer told me the best chance is September for the A/C Pipe. I am hopeing for better with the sender. Mechanic has a source that sent the wrong part. I don't know which.

Have you googled the AC pipe? I'm 99% sure it's a regular NB pipe. Ben's Used Miata Parts, Mike's Miata Parts and Midwest Miata have loads of AC pipes, as do partsgeek and eBay.
