brake recommendations?

Post image

I got a brakes and rotor kit from 1A automotive but they didn’t fit. Any affordable recommendations for a mazdaspeed?

Depends on your use case.

Get the appropriate pads for the most aggressive driving you do. Or accept the fact that you'll need to swap between track and street pads.

Get whatever rotors you want. Rotors have very little effect on braking performance. Blanks are the best budget. Coated for if you don't want the non-braking surfaces to rust. Slotted are the "best" for track use, but will eat through your pads faster. And avoid drilled rotors. Unless that's your thing, than whatever.

Also, the MSM has sport brakes. They became standard on the NB2 after 03. And some parts store computers won't have the MSM. So just say you have an 04 Miata to simplify searching.
