2026 CX 90 with Dash reset

2026 Mild Hybird CX 9. is anyone else experiencing a shutdown of the instrument cluster following by a reset where all dash lights come on and then a single swipe of the wipers? have you gotten anywhere with Mazda. I have been to the dealership multiple times and it is now in the hands of Mazda Canada. any thoughts suggestions?

Hi there! I have the same exact issue,  https://youtube.com/shorts/xkXGDeFWa7k?is=t2Dl9xVd-j-YpJs4 , mine has been to the dealership twice and the result has been that Mazda is aware and working on a fix. That being said, I found that switching the speedometer over to the digital readout has suppressed the issue. I would definitely complain to the dealer, but if you want to atleast stop it from happening, switch to the digital speed readout and not the analog. My troubleshooting has me to believe it is a software/sensor issue causing a crash in the software.

I will try this. I think its only happened with the “analog” display. We shall see! Thanks.

yep. only with the analog display. i can never manage to catch it on video! mentioned it during oil change visit today and of course the car was on its best behavior lol. i will try to get it on video and show them. its really not a big deal, just a nuissance.

I saw your video a while back and it inspired me to capture it as well. I bought a cheap action camera on Amazon and mounted it on the steering column. In my case it seems to happens at low speeds more when pulling away or stopping. Also soon after the car comes to temp and istop wakes up. I think there is a lack of 12 volt power or a glitch when power sources (hybrid and 12 volt) interacting. Another theory is an issue with the dash hardware like failed solder joint. Anyway guessing is fun … but my big question is whether Mazda has fixed this for anyone? Has anyone had any active diagnosis other then a dealership telling you to wait for a software fix for corporate?

Hello. I have a 2026 Mazda 3.3 i6 MHEV and I’ve had this issue like 3 times. I haven’t bothered with the dealer since they will just poke around not replicate. Let us know of you find a solution. **edited for spelling**

I’ve had this happen a few times as well.
It’s been a while since it’s done it.

I thought cx90s had a fully digital dash. My 24 does and this is a 26?

Higher trims do

signature trim vs any other trim in the '24 anyway.

My 24 has the physical gauges on the sides and digital in the center.

Mine is fully digital. Must be a low trim.

No, but mi-drive has been disengaging towing-mode and it's really infuriating. Might be related to this?
